Baked Steak and Jalapeño Casserole

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg tenderized steak 

  • 1 tablespoon red chilli garlic paste 

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon black pepper spice 

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon coarse red chilli powder 

  • Salt to taste

  • Juice from half lemon

  • 3 tablespoon tomato sauce

  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise 

  • 4 tablespoon butter 

  • 1/4 cup fresh cream 

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese (or any cheese of your choice)

  • Fried chips season with salt and red chillies after its fried

  • Tomato sauce 

  • Sliced Jalapeño 


METHOD:

  1. Cut steak into 4cm squares. 

  2. Mix all ingredients together except the butter and marinate the steak for one hour.

  3. Place the steak in a pot, add butter and cook until steak is tender. 

  4. Add fresh cream to the cooked steak. 

  5. Place the fried chips in an oven- proof casserole dish, top with cooked steak, drizzle a little tomato sauce, sprinkle the jalapenos and sprinkle grated cheese over the top.

  6. Bake in a pre-heated oven of 180 degrees for 5-10 minutes until the cheese melts.

Serve immediately!
