Chicken Curry with Yoghurt

Ingredients :


  • 1 kilo Chicken

  • 1 cup Yoghurt

  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder

  • 1 tsp Pepper powder

  • 2 tsp Coriander powder

  • 1 tsp Garam masala

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp green chili paste

  • 2 tbsp crushed coriander leaves

  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala

  • Oil 2 tbsp

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 string curry leaves

  • 3 tbsp cooking cream


Method:


  1. Marinade the chicken with all the ingredients listed untill chaat masala, for 1 hour.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds, curry Leaves.

  3. Add chopped onion and brown them, not crispy but till it gets caramelized.

  4. Add the marinated chicken and fry on medium heat for 5 mins and then cover and cook for 10 mins on low flame.

  5. Once the chicken is tender, add the cooking cream and cook for another 3 mins.

  6. Do not add water.
