Chocolate Cupcakes

  • 1 cup Flour

  • 3/4 cup ground sugar

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 full egg

  • 2 egg whites

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract. Or 2 drops of vanilla essence as its stronger.

This recipe require NO BEATER!

  • Also 1/4 cup of milk

  • For Ganache icing any good quality chocolate.

  • 1/3 cup of whipping cream.


  1. First mix flour in a bowl with a whisk to remove lumps

  2. Add coco powder mix

  3. Add salt and sugar

  4. Mix all ingredients well

  5. Add 1 egg n 2 egg whites, melted butter, oil, add oil. And lastly the milk

  6. Mix well with whisk, then using a spatula to remove any lumps

  7. For ganache break chocolate in smaller pieces .

  8. Bring cream to about to boil in microwave. Take it out and pour on chocolate. Mix until all chocolate is melted

  9. Fill each cupcake 2/3 full and bake in a preheated oven for 325°F for 20 - 23 min

  10. Its better to check after 15 min though with a back of a match stick. If it comes out clear then its done

  11. Allow cupcakes to cool before icing

  12. Swirl cupcakes into ganache for an easy icing
