500g Boneless chicken strips
1/2 tsp Salt and Pepper
1tbsp Corn flour
1tbsp Chilli sauce
1cup Plain flour
2tbsp Corn flour
1tbsp Garlic powder
1tbsp Chaat masala
1tsp Black pepper
For the sauce :
2 cloves garlic - peeled and minced
1 tbsp Vinegar
2 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Sweet chilli sauce - use more or less depending on the brand and how spicy you like it
3 tbsp Ketchup
2 tbsp Brown sugar
4 tbsp Soy sauce
Firstly, you will need to marinate your chicken. To do so, mix the salt, and pepper, corn flour and chilli sauce & keep aside to marinate 30mins.
In another bowl, to plain flour, add corn flour, garlic powder, chaat masala, zeera (cumin) powder, black pepper and mix.
Dip your chicken strips into the dry mixture and keep aside to set for 10 mins. Next, add a beaten egg to the mixture. Fry the chicken till golden brown.
To make the sauce: Add all of the following ingredients to a hot wok, stir and bubble on a high heat until the sauce reduces by about a third (should take 2-3 minutes).
For the sauce, mix together all the ingredients & Add the chicken in and toss in the sauce to coat. Cook for 1-2 minute. Can be served with boiled white rice
Garnish with Spring Onion & Sesame seeds and serve.
