Keema Aloo Mattar

INGREDIENTS⁣


  • 500g minced meat⁣

  • 2 medium chopped onions⁣

  • 5 green chilies (optional)⁣

  • 6-7 dry red chilies (optional)⁣

  • 1/2 cup peas (optional)⁣

  • 2 medium potatoes⁣

  • 1 large tomato⁣

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste⁣

  • 2 tbsp yogurt⁣

  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder⁣

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric⁣

  • Salt⁣

  • 1 1/2 tsp coriander powder⁣

  • 1 tsp garam masala⁣

  • 1 tsp cumin powder⁣

  • 2 cinnamon pieces⁣

  • Handful coriander⁣


STEPS⁣

  • Sauté onions in 4 tbsp oil.

  • Once golden brown, add ginger-garlic, red and green chilies and cook for a minute.

  • Add the minced meat and mix well on high heat.

  • Cook for 5 minutes until the meat has changed it’s color.

  • Add the dry spices, salt, cinnamon sticks and mix well.

  • Sauté for few minutes and add tomatoes, yogurt and add about 1/2 cup water and let it cook covered.

  • Keep the consistency as desired.

  • Lastly add chopped coriander and lemon.
