(measurements for 1 glass of Sharbat )
1 cup chilled water
1/2 tsp basil seeds ( soak in water for 5 mins )
1/2 lemon (extract juice)+ a slice of lemon
1 small long green chilli slitted
1/4 tsp ginger chopped finely
few ice cubes
few mint leaves
¼ tsp black pepper powder ( optional )
1 to 1¼ tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt.
Add all the ingredients in a shaker / glass ,except water .
Add just ¼ cup water ,as there should some space while shaking the drink • Now cover the top of the glass ,with another leak proof glass or you can take a shaker with a lid .
Now add the remaining water and stir.
Serve chilled .

Use a tall container with lid or top it with a glass which doesn't leak because we need to shake it rigorously.
Adjust sweetness according to taste.
Next will try some different flavours of kulukki sarbath like pineapple kulukki ,orange kulukki or even rose kulukki sharbat .
