Masala Dosa

For Dosa Batter Ingredients :

  • 2 cup rice

  • 1 cup urad dal

  • Soak Rice n Dal separately for overnight.

  • Grind it into smooth paste n keep it in warm place for fermentation for around 6 to 7 hours. (Consistency of better should not b runny nor too thick)

  • Add salt into batter at the time of making dosa only


For Potato Masala Ingredients :

  • 1tsp mustard seed

  • 3tsp oil

  • 5 to 6 curry leaves

  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • 4 Boil potato

  • 2 onions

  • 1 green chilly

  • 1/2 tsp tumeric powder

  • 1/2 tea cup water

  • 1/2 lemon

  • Salt to taste

  • Corriender for garnish


Method:


Take oil In pan.

Add mustard seed , curry leaves n green chilly . let it splatter.

Then add ginger garlic paste . Let it cook till raw smell goes off.

Add onion into it. Saute till soft.

Add tumeric powder. Add potatoes into it .

At this moment add water into it.

Add salt , lemon into it n let it simmer for around 5 mins on slow flame.

Garnish with coriander leaves.



For coconut chutney :


  • 1 cup Grated fresh coconut

  • 1 green chilly

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • 10 to 12 peanuts

  • Salt to taste


For sauté :

  • 1 tsp Oil

  • 1 tsp mustard seed

  • 4-5 curry leaves

  • Grind all the above ingredients into fine paste.

  • Take oil into pan . Add mustard seed n let it splatter. Add curry leaves n add this vaghar into coconut paste n mix it well.

Chutney is ready.
