Special Mutton Curry

INGREDIENTS:


For boiling mutton pieces:

  • Mutton pieces

  • Water as required

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 1cinnamon stick

  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds

  • 1tbsp salt

  • 1 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 green chillies


For Cooking Gravy:

  • Grinded 5-6tomatoes

  • 1 cup curd

  • 4 onions fried (grind them & make paste)

  • Oil as required

  • 1 spoon ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1tbsp coriander powder(dhaniya powder)

  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder

  • 2 spoon kadi masala powder

  • 1tbsp cumin powder

  • 1 tbsp tandoori masala

  • 2-3 Cardamom

  • Tomato puree paste

  • 1 tbsp black pepper


METHOD:


  1. Take oil in a vessel, Add bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, cumin seeds fry them for 2 mins.

  2. Add ginger-garlic paste after 1 minute, Add all the the dry ingredients and saute it for 2-3 min.

  3. Add kadi leaves (kadi patta) and grinded tomato, Mix well

  4. Let the tomato cook in the mixture on low flame and cover the lid.

  5. After 5 minutes, Check tomato mixture, if it is boiling, then add curd & fried onions paste, mix well and cover lid for 5 min.

  6. Add boiled mutton pieces and tomato puree paste mix well and put the stove on medium flame, cover lid after few mins.

  7. Add boiled mutton water and cook it. Keep the lid covered for some time atleast 10 mins.

  8. Open the lid and let the gravy boil till it gets little thick

  9. Once the gravy is done, Off your flame and Sprinkle some coriander leaves


Serve Hot and Enjoy with paratha or naan!
